Enver Hoxha's 18th date of death:

Teachings and life's work

of the 5th classic of Marxism-Leninism

are immortal !

Today Marxist-Leninists all over the world are in mourning over the grave loss of Comrade

Enver Hoxha, the Fifth Classic of Marxism-Leninism, whose heart stopped beating on

April 11th 1985.

As Marxist-Leninists we fight everwhere in the world day in day out in the spirit of Cmde.

Enver Hoxha; today, however, on his 18th date of death, we want to take a short break to

unite our sorrowful hearts in memory of him.

Comrade Enver Hoxha is always in our hearts. Even after his death he still leads us forward

on the glorious path to communism to gain new victories in his principled and determined

manner.

The life of the Fifth Classic of Marxism-Leninism was not just the life of a faithful son of the

Albanian people; it was also the life of one of the best revolutionaries the international wor-

king class has ever put on its shield in its glorious past. All his life he fought an unrelenting

and truly historic battle on behalf and in the service of the Albanian people, the dictator-

ship of the Albanian proletariat, Albanian socialism, world revolution, international commu-

nism and the liberation of mankind from exploitation and suppression.

He was only a school boy when he started persuing the revolutionary path. In the hard and

bad times of occupation by the Italian fascists, Comrade Enver Hoxha led the armed revolu-

tionary struggle of the Albanian people and, on November 8th 1941, he founded the Commu-

nist Party of Albania under most difficult circumstances of illegality, with which he led

the Albanian people to revolution and socialism. Since its foundation Comrade Enver Hoxha

remained at the top of the party without interruption till his last breath as once Comrade Le-

nin did.

Comrade Enver Hoxha led the Party of Labour of Albania victoriously through the most diffi-

cult and hardest battles of which we would like to mention only a few:

* the armed struggle against the Italian and German occupiers and their treacherous lackeys;

* the fight against the conspiracy of the Yugoslav revisionist leadership and their agents in-

side Albania such as Koci Xoxe and others, by means of which it was intended to do

away with Albanian independence and to transform Albania into a mere satellite of Yugos-

lavia;

* the struggle against Anglo-American imperialism and its tools to topple the people's power

in Albania and to restore capitalism there;

* the fight against the big conspiracy of the Soviet Krushchevite revisionists to turn Albania

into a satellite state of Russian social imperialism;

* the struggle against the Chinese revisionists who intended to subjugate socialist Albania

in the interest of their hegemonistic and social imperialist machinations;

* the suppression of the attempted coup d'état organized by wreckers and conspirators led

by traitors such as Beqir Balluku, Abyl Kellezi and others who had become tools and mouth-

pieces of foreign states which wanted to subjugate Albania in order to liquidate socialism

and to restore capitalism;

* the last decisive battle against the biggest and most dangerous conspiracy led by the de-

structive, undermining and counterrevolutionary forces of the neorevisionist traitor Ramiz

Alia Enver Hoxha did not survive because he was treacherously murdered by his enemies.

The secret murder of Enver Hoxha is not just a crime against the Albanian people, against

socialism in Albania, but a crime against the greatest Marxist-Leninist leader of the interna-

tional proletariat, the last leader of socialism on this earth, a crime against communism

and the world revolution. Had he been able to continue his struggle, he would no doubt

have emerged victorious even from this battle !

Now, dear comrades of Marxism-Leninism from all over the world, it is up to us to continue

this struggle victoriously in the spirit of Comrade Enver Hoxha and to carry it to its final con-

clusion. It is our duty as internationalists to help the honest Albanian followers of the late

comrade Enver Hoxha to reconstruct socialism in Albania until the proletarian revolution has

newly triumphed in order to remove the repercussions of Ramiz Alia's monstrous crime once

and for all, under which the Albanian people are suffering so much today.

We are going to translate into action Enver Hoxha's teachings such as these: Down with

revisionist treason ! Develop a Marxist-Leninist strategy and tactics against revisionism in

power !

The battle an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, the isolation and unrelentless

exposure of the revisionist cliques are the only way to crash and liquidate modern

revisionism and to secure the triumph of Marxism-Leninism. Only this way can new

Marxist-Leninist parties be established and consolidated - parties that are devoted to

the true ideology of the working class and proletarian internationalism; this is the only

way which, in the final analysis, will safeguard the victory of revolution over coun-

terrevolution.

We have got to thank above all Comrade Enver Hoxha for having secured a victory over mo-

dern revisionism. By attacking Enver Hoxha in a ferocious way today, modern revisionism

is simultaneously attacking Marxism-Leninism, the classics, the international Marxist-Leninist

movement, the whole international proletariat. Today it is impossible to come out in defense

of Marxism-Leninism, the classics of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin without defending Enver

Hoxha at the same time. Enver Hoxha correctly applied the teachings of Stalin. He became

the worthiest and best pupil of Stalin. However, not only has he correctly applied Stalin's

teachings to Albanian conditions and not only has he led the only socialist country apart from

the Soviet Union to victory - he has also developed Stalin's teachings further. If Comrade En-

ver Hoxha's findings were but mere applications of these teachings to the special conditions

of Albania, we would have to speak about a purely national, a mere Albanian phenomenon.

However, Enver Hoxha's teachings are an international phenomenon, deeply rooted in inter-

national developments. So they are by no means a purely Albanian affair. He was able to

carry forward Marxism-Leninism even in one of the smallest countries in the world, being

confronted with the fact that the great Soviet Union of Lenin and Stalin had lost its dictator-

ship of the proletariat through the treason of the Krushchevites and being faced with the ne-

cessity that Albania had to solely rely on its own ressources.

In this context it was very important that Albania could not only rely on the revolutionary

heritage of the classics - it also enjoyed the loyal support of the whole international

Marxist-Leninist movement organizing revolutionary class struggles the world over. Under

Enver Hoxha's leadership this movement enjoyed a tremendous upswing. He succeeded

in strengthening and uniting Marxist-Leninists from all over the world and he brought about

the rebirth of all revolutionary elements of Marxism-Leninism after the revisionist betrayal

against Stalin.

Enver Hoxha's teachings led to the regeneration, the reorganization and to the reestablish-

ment of many Marxist-Leninist parties, a phenomenon which, in a way, is comparable with

the situation when the Communist International was founded, when after the revisionist be-

trayal proletarian internationalism regained its revolutionary essence. Enver Hoxha became

the leader of Marxism-Leninism, of the international proletariat and of all the peoples

after Stalin's death. Although the Communist International was liquidated by its revisionist

leaders, Enver Hoxha correctly applied its guiding principles to Albanian conditions.

Enver Hoxha was the only upright Marxist-Leninist leader at the Moscow and Bucharest con-

ference who repulsed the attacks against Stalin. In spite of massive pressurizing on the part

of the revisionists led by Krushchev, he proved to the world in a brilliant fashion that it was

still possible to keep the majority of delegates at these two conferences on a best possible

Marxist-Leninist line. With his revolutionary internationalist attitude - and later in the way he

conducted Albanian foreign policy affairs - he, unlike nobody else, contributed to the friend-

ship among the peoples of the world and to the struggle against imperialism and social im-

perialism.

It is not just thanks to his efforts that he restored Stalin's teachings and Marxism-Leninism

as a whole, but he even did another step forward by developing Marxism-Leninism further

under the new conditions of imperialist and social imperialist rule, with revisionists in power

at a time when capitalism was being restored under the auspices of social-fascist rule, under

conditions where the dictatorship of the proletariat in the Soviet Union had already been liqui-

dated.

The essence of Hoxha's teachings lies in the fact that it is Marxism-Leninism applied to the

most advanced stage of imperialism, which is nothing but crisisridden, decaying, parasitic

and dying capitalism also in its new cloaks of social imperialism and social fascism. He

developed a new theory and new tactics of anti-revisionism and anti-socialfascist proletarian

revolution in general and showed ways of how to reconquer and reestablish the dictatorship

of the proletariat also on an international level. He showed that it is possible to regenerate

socialism and to lead it to victory even in a situation where a socialist country is encircled

by western-style imperialism and social imperialism, that it is still possible to lead the pro-

letariat to victory despite restored capitalism and revisionism in power.

Moreover, Enver Hoxha teaches us that socialism in a single country can develop even if

another socialist country has been lost to capitalism; he also teaches us that not only can

a small country stand up against international imperialism but it can even make progress

for a certain period of time.

The enemies of communism, the revisionists, have always followed the same strategy: They

started to 'refute' the last classic, then they proceeded with the other classics one by one

with the intention to 'refute' Marxism-Leninism as a whole. They attack Enver Hoxha and

they have Stalin in mind. They attacked Stalin and had Lenin in mind. They used to attack

Lenin and they had Marx and Engels in mind. They attacked Marx and Engels in the old

days and had communism in mind.

This is the trick of all revisionists: They start the battle with a sectarian line and they end up

openly propagating anti-communist ideology, which one day will be put on the rubbish heap

of history. Nothing and nobody can disprove Enver Hoxha's teachings, not even by means

of dirty tricks can this goal be achieved. We are not afraid of physical liquidation, we do not

fear fascist persecution and torture, we are not scared of social fascists and their lackeys,

and we are not in the least afraid of enemies who pretend to have suddenly started 'liking'

Enver Hoxha. These people just say so to win our confidence whereas in reality they are

trying to undermine our organizations from within by means of 'Troyan Horse tactics' in order

to liquidate them.

Each deviation from Hoxha's principles, each act of centrism, that is, a conciliatory attitude

towards bourgeois ideology, mixing it with Marxism-Leninism, constitutes a breach of Mar-

xist-Leninist principles. And one of the key principles is this:

There cannot and there must not be any alliance or any kind of collaboration

between Marxist-Leninists and revisionists !

We are well disciplined Bolsheviks and we are going to guard Marxism-Leninism like a

well cherished treasure house. For us today that means to defend the immortal works

of Enver Hoxha with all our might. Your struggle, Comrade Enver Hoxha, is our struggle !

To learn from Enver Hoxha is to learn how to triumph!

Long live Enver Hoxha - the 5th classic of Marxism-Leninism!
